A quick post before walking the Axe-Man who has finally woken. Last night and this morning, besides thoroughly enjoying some social media time with found-again friends – (Say WHAT? Sue’s on Social Media???), I puttered around creating Tam-O’Shanters (teensy, eensy, weensy hats from plaid wool) for some of The Fancifulls. These special creations will be accompanying me to the North Lanark Highland Games this coming Saturday, August 24th. I only made 18 – 6 Dixies, 6 Dexters, and not wanting to be left out, 6 Dinahs. They will be the same price as the rest – $10.00 but once gone, I’m afraid I’ll not have the time to make a fresh batch. MUCH PUTTERING!
If you’ve never been to Almonte, you really are missing something special. It is the backdrop of over 1/2 dozen movie productions in as many years. Even Hollywood knows about Almonte, Ontario, Canada – Population 4,752… on a quiet day… of which there are few.
I’ll find out where my booth is situated only minutes before you do. Here’s hoping for a quick and un-eventful set-up. Appologies in advance if that is not the case.
Oh… and finally have my gift boxes in production. Hope to unveil them at the EY centre this Holiday Season – 10th-15th December. I don’t know where I’ll be in that monstrous building either but it’s a 10′ X 10′ booth on an aisle. Please look for me. I’ll be the one with a huge smile on my face and sore feet.
Sue and Axie and the always-on-my-mind Fancifulls
These are so unique! I love the texture on the wings!
Thanks Diane. It’s a bit time consuming, but the outcome makes it all worth it.
