Driftwood Breeze Mobile – RUSTIC ELEGANCE

Eight clear-coated, hammered, copper dragonflies display black and copper brindle finish.

Six suspended dragonflies; two stationary and secured on uppermost branch.

Driftwood salvaged from the shores of the Ottawa River. Lightly sanded and clear-coated with water-base, satin urethane.

Black fresh-water pearl beads accent each suspended dragonfly.

Clear resin stability bob; black, copper, and cream coloured flecks within flash in the sunlight.

Not recommended for outdoor display.

This finish is new. Imagineered, to my knowledge, not in use anywhere else! The brindle effect is created with… black shoe polish(!), followed by two liberal coats of  automotive clear-coat. Honestly not sure how it will  react to sunlight.

Polish worked extremely well on my spit-shone drill boots.  Parades and inspections attending training courses during my military service.

Finish should be suitable for outdoors on copper though, honestly, not sure.

Size:  Branch length 79 cm (31 inches); Drop from top branch 92 cm (36.5 inches).Note 51cm (20 inch) rotating clearance required for full motion due to offset branches.
