As I’ve said and been told numerous times, I’m on a steep learning curve. Firstly, if you’re not already aware, when a PayPal sale comes through at 1:23am and your phone, at your bedside, is not on mute, YOU WILL WAKE UP. On my phone it sounded like receiving a FB messages in succession. I had no idea what was going on.

I’m glad my first sale was to a friend I’ve not seen in years who lives a couple of thousand miles away. Kyle, Thanks. Your purchase has shown me where the kinks are. I state there will be $3.00 extra shipping charge for each Fancifull. Kyle ordered two Dexters but as my pricing is set, Kyle was only charged for the price of the Fancifulls and NO shipping. After this post (now 3:33am), I will be going onto that page to correct it. Kyle is a good friend and has helped me over our 30+ years of friendship. He deserves free shipping. 🙂 Cheers, Buddy! 2 Dexters are already packaged with packing slip and postage label ready to be dropped at Canada Post in the morning…. ahhh…. in a few hours…

Which leads me to my second learning experience with this order. In actuality, I was told by our very capable Canada Post rep in my community that by using their small bubble pac, I could secure up to 6 Fancifulls for shipping ANYWHERE in Canada for the very reasonable price of $4.17. Well that was several weeks ago. I tried to figure out how to produce a packing slip for Kyle and somehow began producing a shipping label for Canada Post. The cost of learning this lesson? $18.89. BUT now we have a tracking number that wasn’t on offer for the economy service.

An update on Butterfly production too… I have my sheet copper and have template drawn. Will assemble a few on Sunday – somehow and photograph. Highland Games vendor Saturday, the as-promised Bianca Post Sunday, and regular chores around my home before my full-time starts again Monday. I can’t imagine how Mother’s juggle their daily tasks. I was not fortunate enough to have children. I don’t understant how you possibly manage. Just imagining it makes my eyes bug out. Way too much workload. Moms are amazing!

I should get some sleep. The excitement of my first PayPal sale is beginning to wear off. Oh… but need to fix Purchasing Page. Candle burning at both ends again today. Oh well they and my customers are worth it. I hope my Fancifulls find a place in your heart and home soon.

Yes, Kyle. I gave Axie a “wuzzle” for you… Or I think I did. What’s a “wuzzle?”
