A small bit of a broken down lobster trap found in the surf. I saved it, ’cause, you know, anything on PEI shores has more character than what I can find at home.
Getting carried away, I also found a washed-up bit of exoskeleton from a teeny tiny lobster. nothing else, just the skeleton claw. Yup, saved it too.
As with many of my other PEI driftwood pieces, I added a dragonfly with ocean-coloured, hydro-dipped wings. Remainder bright copper, unfinished to allow aging.
Driftwood for this one is raw and un-sealed. So much character!
Non-marring, branded cork base.
