Driftwood Accent – “LOBSTER CLAW”
Incorporating driftwood personally collected from the shores and beaches of Prince Edward Island.
After visiting the Island during the spring lobster season, it seemed there was lobster dishes and souvenirs, even sandals that looked like lobsters. Do you see the claw in this natural piece of driftwood found on Robinson Island beach, near Cavandish?
Cleaned, sanded and clear-coated ; 14-gauge copper wire stand incorporated, displaying claw and dragonflies to best advantage. Do you see the piece in the pile collected that day? Look on the left side, near the back.;)
Two personally handcrafted, copper dragonflies, in sea, surf, and foam blues; using a hydro-dipping technique have been mounted to the leg above the claw.
