On The Ledge Series – Pink Granite Strong

This pink Granite base, one of Earth’s strongest rocks represents feminine strength, with both rough and rounded edges.

Leaf and stem copper has been chemically aged to create copper patina. Copper wings have been coloured using automotive spray paint in a hydro-dipping technique.  Wings are then assembled to a bright copper body. The body will age over time further enhancing wing colours.

Hand beading 28-gauge copper wire allows for repositioning of stamens of Poppy centre.

Felt pads secured to high points on the underside to ensure no scratching to polished display surfaces.
