A Prince Edward Islander has brought me a big box of ocean driftwood from ‘home.’ First piece designed from new stash.
Thinly coated with satin Varathane to punctuate wood’s gnarliness,
Seagull head, glass agate ‘prize’ captured in it’s beak.
Long-billed songbird on the back side of the gull head.
Three blue-themed dragonflies wired to driftwood will allow for positioning on either side of piece if you chose to display as wall accent.
Alcohol ink-coloured wings not suitable for display in direct sunlight.
Overall Size: 43cm (17 inches) wide, 10cm (4 inches) deep, 34cm (13.5 inches) drop from copper hanger.
