Driftwood Accent – “OYSTER SOUP”

Incorporating driftwood personally collected from the shores and beaches of Prince Edward Island.

I know it would more-commonly be called OYSTER STEW. I like the name OYSTER SOUP.

Thank you to Sara(h) at VALLEY PEARL OYSTERS, Malpeque Bay, PEI for her shucking skills and guidance in eating a raw oyster. It was a challenge. Another bucket list item checked. A fifteen second video recorded the moment.

A surf-worn oyster shell lies in wait to be filled as its owner looks on.

Personally handcrafted, copper dragonfly, with patina wings created with the help of Modern Masters Metal Effects Patina formulation. He has been mounted to lightly sanded, clear-coated table, waiting patiently beside his soup bowl.

SIZE:  17cm (6.5″) long  x 12cm (4.5″)  wide x 7cm (3″) tall..
