Yesterday was laundry day. In my hurry to attend more important matters, that being my barking dog, Axie, I had forgotten to clean out my pockets.

While shaking my clean, wet clothes out before hanging to dry, (I do not use my electric dryer), I found Dixie and Delta in a pocket of my GT Boutique, washable “linen-like,” pants. They looked a little frazzled to say the least.

I’m pleased and proud to report that after a few seconds of recovery stretches, they were able to spread their wings and be back to their normal selves. Even Delta’s balance on her hanger hook was perfect. The girls got a bit of their glitter back as well. Dixie, however, was extremely unimpressed by the whole ordeal and wanted to fly straight back to South Carolina Beach after that treatment. Thankfully, Delta was able to talk her out of it while I went on another mosquito gathering mission.

Both girls are now full and content. They are currently comparing wingspans to see who has the widest. Needless to say I kept Darby out of the room through this whole ordeal. I know Darby. He would have never stopped laughing at their distress. Boys! I know however, if I hadn’t been there, he would have done all he could to help his friends… between laughs.

Moral of the story: Don’t forget to clean your pockets out before placing your laundry in the washer. If you do forget, know that Hazy Dayz Dragonflies will fare far better than that pesky tissue that shreds itself and ends up on everything. Why does that only ever happen in the darks load?

Have a great week. Dixie and Delta say that they hope you don’t get too frazzled even if you seem to be spinning in circles.
