Driftwood Accent – “CURVES”
Incorporating driftwood personally collected from the shores and beaches of Prince Edward Island.
Robinson Island, part of the National Park on the north shore of the island. Surprised by the beautiful wood found beneath the beach scruff.
See if you can find CURVES from the pile of driftwood I collected that morning. A prominent part, shown in the third gallery photo is visible in the picture of the pile, fifth photograph.
Two personally handcrafted, copper dragonflies, in sea, surf, and foam blues; using a hydro-dipping technique have been mounted, a third suspended, to this cleaned, hand-sanded and clear-coated base.
No electricity was used during any process of creating this original and unique piece.
